Little Ladybug Bakery started in October 2010 when Rozlyn Steele decided the residents of Oakland were bereft of a bakery specializing in scratch made, hand-crafted pie. She knew it was her duty to remedy that problem.
Rozlyn went to Seattle Central Culinary Academy in 2004 and has been plotting her own bakery ever since. Little Ladybug Bakery uses heirloom recipes and traditional pie making techniques while sourcing ingredients through the farmers markets when ever possible. By developing relationships with the local farmers Little Ladybug is ensured the freshest and best produce which in turn makes the best product.

What makes Little Ladybug Bakery so special is the loving attention to flavors and texture. We’re not trying to reinvent anything here, just paying respect to the craft of baking by making something beautiful and delicious.
