Well folks, Thanksgiving will be here in THREE WEEKS! I am taking pre-orders for the holiday now, both online and at my farmers market pie booth. Thursday November 15 will be the latest I can take orders for Thanksgiving so be sure to place your pie order before that! For my lovely Marinians (is that the term for North Bay people?) I will be at the Marin Civic Center farmers market WEDNESDAY Nov. 21 from 8am-1pm and later that same day for my East Bay beauties, I will be available for pie pick ups from my kitchen in Emeryville (Carrie Dove Catering kitchen, 1552 Beach St. Suite C) from 3:30pm-5:30pm. Let Ladybug take some of the stress of the holiday off of you! Let me make the pie so you have more time to make the memories!
Hello Autumn, I am so happy to see you! This time of year is great for me, I get to change up my pie flavors and my wardrobe stylings! I have phased out my summer pie flavors and ushered in new ones for your enjoyment. You can now find a Classic Apple Pie, Oh So Sweet Potato Pie, Heirloom Pumpkin Pie and Nutrageous Pecan-Walnut Pie at my pie booth at your local farmers market. I will have these treats for sale in whole pies, mini ‘date night’ pies and by the slice. Be sure to try them all, you owe it to yourself! See you at the market 🙂 – Ladybug
Peaches are gone, Pecan Walnut Pie is here! This pie is so amazing and decadent, you will flip when you taste it. The walnuts are sourced from Wilson Farms (found at the Sunday Marin Civic Center farmers market) and they are mixed with pecans so you get a nice nutty bouquet of flavor. Typically these types of pies can be WAY too sweet but Ladybug is very conservative with the sugar so the pie has just the right balance of sweet to nutty to pastry. All in all, a great Fall pie to finish your meal with!
